This press release served as a brand launch, an investment thesis, solicitation for both investors and start-ups, and even crisis management amid thorny industry politics. I think it shows off my skill in threading needles for clients with complex needs.
After publishing this release, the fund managers attracted eight figures worth of investment, earned favorable coverage in real estate trades, and signed four new deals with start-up founders.

When I wrote this, "iBuyers" had just become a hot topic in the real estate sphere. Many independent real estate agents and brokers feared that companies like Zillow and Opendoor would cannibalize their income with disruptive new business models.
Most available writing about iBuyers at the time targeted a small, hyper-savvy group of industry insiders. In this blog, I synthesize these sources into a broad, accessible overview.

I wrote a great deal of pitch material in my time in the entertainment industry. Although some of my best work is under NDA, I created this show and can share it freely.
This is a pitch deck for an animated sitcom called Moon Police. I’m including it here to demonstrate my creative skills and marketing/sales aptitude. If you find the subject matter of the other work here a little dry, this is the sample for you.

I wrote this blog post about a recent court decision in a media rights lawsuit. My assignment was to relay information about a technically complex, legally sensitive topic to two niche audiences at once: residential real estate brokers and their lawyers.
This piece matches the lively tone of professional salespeople with the necessary precision of legal departments. I think it’s some of my best “pop law” copy.
